Go Team & Kidorama Bible Club 2012

A Go team consisting of Connor Quigley (Airdrie), Tom Somerville (Lisburn) and Catherine Macleod (Glasgow) arrived at the manse on the afternoon of Monday 25^th June. They were joined at various times through the week by Amy & Peter McCollum (Ballymoney), Claire Kennedy (Kilraughts) and Scott & Esther McCollum (Glenmanus). The team spent the afternoon preparing the hall and themselves for the Kidorama Bible Club which kicked off at 6.30pm. Each evening the team organised games, taught memory verses and lessons and generally helped with the club. Though attendance at the club was smaller than in previous years it was great to see many of the children we had got to know through the Kids Club over the last few years. We pray that the good seed sown during the week will bear fruit in their lives.

 

As well as helping at the club the team also distributed 2500 copies of The Anchor to homes in Portrush and gave out some tracts to those attending the Irish Open. We pray that God will use all of this for His glory and we are assured that His Word “will not return to (Him) empty, but will accomplish what (He) desires and achieve the purpose for which (He) sent it.” (Isaiah 55:11)
